Dispense medications accurately and ensure proper labeling.
Review and verify prescriptions for appropriateness and safety.
Counsel patients on the correct use of medicines and potential side effects.
Maintain proper stock control, inventory and cold chain management.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations and hospital policies.
Prepare reports and maintain accurate pharmacy records.
Collaborate with doctors and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized university.
Registration with the Sri Lanka Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
0–2 years of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of drugs, dosage forms, drug interactions and pharmaceutical care.
Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proficient in MS Office and pharmacy management systems (an added advantage).
