About the Role

Provide efficient and effective medical care to patients in ETU/OPD.

Assess, diagnose, and manage patients and stabilize emergencies.

Order and interpret investigations and review treatment plans.

Refer/admit patients to appropriate departments when necessary.

Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the Hospital Information System (HIS).

Work closely with nursing staff, consultants, and other healthcare professionals.

Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.

Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.

Requirements

MBBS degree from a recognized university.

Registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) with valid APC.

Completed compulsory internship.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ETU/OPD or Emergency Medicine.

Good clinical knowledge and ability to manage patients in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work in shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a team and under pressure.

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Hospital Information System (HIS) will be an added advantage.

Neat appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to patient care.
